Brazos Valley Cotillion
2010 Brazos Valley Cotillion will be held in conjunction with Class Act Etiquette / Dance Camp at the Bush Presidential Library and Museum June 1–4, 2010.
Formal Ball
You are cordially invited to a Formal Ball on Friday, February 26, 2010. To be held at the Hilton Hotel of College Station.
This event is for all teens and pre-teens (aged 11–18 years). Whether you have previously attended Cotillion, Etiquette, or Dance Camp or you are brand new to any of Dr Susan’s youth programs, you are invited!
Dress for the Ball: Semi-Formal or Formal (Gentlemen: dark suit, white shirt & tie; Ladies: long gown or cocktail dress).
3 weeks of Dance Lessons will be held on Tuesday evenings January 26, February 2, 9. Along with the dance lessons will be a review of basic common courtesies and dining etiquette.
Package Price for Ball and Lessons: $80
Formal Ball only: $60
Dance lessons & Etiquette Review only: $45
After January 26:
Full Package: $90
Formal Ball only: $70
As part of the Formal Ball, we will have a Showcase. The Texas A&M Ballroom Dance Performance Team will perform. In addition you may apply to perform in the Showcase yourself. All showcase numbers must be pre-approved. Any of my 4-week classes or private lessons are available to help you prepare. You may choose your own partner or I will be happy to help you find a partner.
4-week Dance Class for Beginners
 Mondays, March 22, 29, April 5, 12, 2010This is not your ordinary dance class! We have fun! Guaranteed to learn and to gain confidence. Let’s lear the Hustle! How about some Swing?! And of course we want to learn some Latin dances! You’ll find out how you can take the music you like to listen to and dance a cha cha or a foxtrot or a swing to it! |
Etiquette and Dance Summer Camp
June 1-4, 2010
12:45-2:15pm 7-10 year olds
2:30-4:30 pm 11-18 year olds
Class meets Tuesday through Friday
Final evening banquet and dance Friday evening, 6:30-9:30pm

Swing, Salsa, Cha Cha, Waltz, and Tango
Young people who learn to dance are confident! Popular! And definitely have more fun when they go to parties. Find out how to dance to the music you like to hear! West Coast Swing, Tango, and Cha Cha are always favorites.

Cost: $7 (includes pizza and a 1-hour lesson, some great mixers and line dances)
